RGD competes in National and International Dance competitions in Hip Hop.
RGD Crews have gone on to win multiple NZ competitions including HHI NZ Nationals and compete
on the world stage.
Crews offer students amazing opportunities to grow and be challenged under experienced choreographers.
Our crews are something we are passionate about at RGD and we are constantly growing and evolving in this area. Crew auditions are held each year and we welcome all students with a passion to perform.
2025 Development Crew Auditions
Registrations are now open for our 2025 development Junior Crews!
We are excited to inform you that our junior development auditions will run on Saturday November 30th & if you are interested in joining a hip hop crew to compete and be part of some cool performance opportunities, we welcome you to register and audition!
Audition Information:
Location: RGD Studio, 9/18 Hannigan Drive, St Johns, Auckland
Date: Saturday November 30th 2024
Audition times:
Audition 1: Knox & Yunx
Age: 6 - 8 years old
Time: 9.00 - 11.00am
Audition 2: Minx and Code X
Age: 9 - 12 years old:
Time: 11.30pm-3.00pm
Audition 2 will run as follows:
- 11.30 - 1:00pm: Audition class 1
- 1.00-1.30pm: Snack break
- 1.30 - 3:00pm: Audition class 2
Attire: Feel free to wear any clothing that's comfortable to dance in. Please wear closed in shoes / sneakers and hair tied up off their face.
- Audition Process: You are not required to bring any prepared choreography to the audition. Dancers will learn a routine like an open class and execute the choreography in multiple smaller groups throughout the audition process.
Audition 1 Fees: Audition fee of $50 to pay which will secure your spot in our auditions.
Audition 2 Fees: Audition fee of $85 to pay which will secure your spot in our auditions.
